- Reopening of st. anthony’s church for weekday Mass this week
Effective 23rd July, UNIFOR has updated its SOP which allowed churches to reopen with a maximum capacity of 50 persons only. St. Anthony’s Church is reopening this week for WEEKDAY MASS at 7.00 am in English.
- Parishioners who wish to attend weekday mass must be vaccinated with at least one dose for your own safety.
- No walk-ins. Booking is required. Please Whatsapp or SMS us at 0162248126 with the following details: Name, Weekday Mass Date and Contact Number. You may only book a maximum of 2 persons at one time.
- You may book for any weekday mass (Monday-Saturday) this week. When the capacity for 50 persons for a particular weekday mass is reached, then you will be registered for the next day’s weekday mass.
- A confirmation booking number will be sent to you to confirm your booking. Please show this Confirmation number to the registration team. You may only book a maximum of 2 persons at one time.
2. Reopening of the Church for SUNDAY Mass
There will be a meeting between the priests and the representatives from the Chinese, English, Iban and BM prayer groups on Monday (26th July) at 8.30 pm via zoom to discuss the reopening of St. Anthony, Stella Maris and Rumah Penampak Kristus for SUNDAY MASS. Please be patient as the parish would like to ensure that the SOP will observed when the churches are opened to the public. More information will be announced shortly.
3. COMBINED REQUIEM MASS
The Combined Requiem Mass for July is on Friday, 30th July 2021, at the 7.00 am online mass. Please register at the Parish Office or WhatsApp us at 0162248126 before Wednesday, 28th July 2021. For more information, please refer to the parish website.
4. ONLINE CONFIRMATION COURSE
This course is opened to all secondary school students who are 15 years and above, already baptized and have received their first holy communion. The course will begin end of August. Registration is opened for one month. Please register through WhatsApp by sending your name and language of preference to the parish number (0162248126).
