1. Sunday Mass Church Collection

There are two collections taken up in the Church every Sunday.  The red collection bag is used for the first collection and the green collection bag is used for the second collection. 

The First Collection is for used for the upkeep and maintenance of our Church and the day-to-day running of the parish.  25% from the first collection will be given to the Diocese.   

The Second Collection is used for the following purposes:

• Priests and Seminarians Fund (1^st Sunday of the month)
• Wisma St. Joseph (2^nd Sunday of the moth)
• Parish Council Fund (3^rd Sunday of the month)
• Pastoral Commission Fund (5^th Sunday of the month)

2. Gawai Mass

Date:       24^th May 2022 (Tuesday)

Place:      St. Anthony’s Church

Time:       8.00 pm

All are invited to come and give thanks to God.   

3. SOLEMNITY OF THE ASCENSION OF THE LORD

Ascension is a Holyday of Obligation and the Mass schedule is as follows:

4. COMBINED REQUIEM MASS

This month’s Combined Requiem Mass will be on Friday, 27^th May 2022.  Please register the names of the faithful departed and your offering at the Parish Office or Whatsapp 0162248126 before Wednesday, 25^th May 2022.

5. MOVIE NIGHT

The movie, “FATIMA” will be shown on movie night organized by FIAT.

6. NOVENA TO THE HOLY SPIRIT IN ENGLISH

Date:       27^th May (Friday) – 4^th June 2022 (Saturday)

Place:      Stella Maris Church

Time:       7.30 pm

The booklets used during the Novena are available from the Parish Bookshop or from the English home cell-group leaders for RM 4 each.  Book I contains the Novena Prayers while Book II contains the 9 talks on the theme: “Get to know the Holy Spirit.”  Let us pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our family and parish.
