- MASS ATTENDANCE INCREASED TO 200 PERSONS
With effect from 28th November 2021 (1st Sunday of Advent), we will increase Mass attendance from 100 to 200 persons for all Masses (including Daily Mass) in St. Anthony’s Church and Stella Maris Church. However, parishioners would still need to book the Sunday Masses. For Wedding and Funeral Mass, the maximum attendance is still 100 persons.
2. QUESTIONNAIRES FOR THE SYNOD OF BISHOPS
Questionnaires are available in paper form at the entrance of the Church. Please submit your answered questionnaires in the synod collection box (located at the entrance of the Church) or to the Parish Office before 1st January 2022. For more information, please refer to the Church notice board.
3. COMBINED REQUIEM MASS IN NOVEMBER
Our next Combined Requiem Mass is on Fridays, 19th and 26th November at the 7 am daily mass. Please fill in the mass offering envelops for the faithful departed and place them in the box at the entrance of the Church. You can also register at the Parish Office or Whatsapp us at 0162248126.
4. Infant baptism (5 years old and below) in Mandarin, English and BM
Parents who wish to have their infants baptized can register in the Parish Office. Closing date for the registration is 30th November 2021. The online course will begin in this December.
5. NOMINATION OF THE NEW PARISH COUNCIL MEMBERS
Parishioner aged 18 years & above are invited to nominate fellow parishioners whom you think are good potential candidates to stand for the 2022-2024 Parish Council Election: those from the Chinese, BM and English Mass to nominate 4 candidates, while those from the Iban Mass to nominate 8 candidates. 20 shortlisted candidates will be chosen to be on the election ballot. Nomination forms will be distributed next week (21/11). For more information, please refer to the Church notice board.
6. SING YOUR PRAISE TO GOD CATHOLIC HYMNAL
The newly revised English hymnal is available for purchase at RM25 at the parish bookshop or at the entrance of the Church today. Please get a personal copy as we will be using this official English language hymnal from now onwards.
